See the message below from our off-hours coordinator, Toni Torsch, regarding the upcoming Bull Roast.
Hope you all are doing well and the summer was kind. It’s hard to believe that this will be our 6th year of our ‘Bull & Shrimp Feast Dinner and Auction’ fundraiser!
Our Dan’s heaven date is December 3rd, and even harder to believe that it will be 6 years since he left us. Since that time, life has certainly been a roller coaster of emotions.
The Daniel Carl Torsch Foundation has experienced several accomplishments, such as;
lobbied, advocated and was successful in having life saving laws enacted in Maryland
trained over 100 families in overdose response and prevention
assisted several adults with entrance into in-patient substance abuse treatment
provided more than 200 free take home naloxone overdose response kits
Please feel free to share with family and friends. Tickets are in, so give us a call or email if you are interested in attending. If you can’t attend the event, but have a hour or two, we could use a few volunteers.
I trust if I don’t see you, that we will remain in your prayers for our continued strength in the work that still lies ahead.
Happy fall and have a great day!
