Contract Terms

Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Currently seeking a RN to work in PICU for a 13 week assignment (with possible extension) in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years clinical experience and 2 years of specialty experience.

AM/PM rotation

Criteria for  Nurse

Nurses are to have 2.5 years’ experience in PICU or Step down;

will float Peds med surg floors.

10/1 – ASAP

Patient Care

Will maintain broad inclusion criteria to allow for flexibility.

Patients admitted will be characterized as minimally to Moderately Complex – one or two organ systems with typical disease presentation;.

Moderately Stable – Responsive to therapy/interventions,.

low risk of death.

Highly Predictable – Common patient population/illness, disease following usual presentation/course.

Examples diagnoses will include respiratory distress with HHFNC, post-operative overnight observation, status asthmaticus with continuous albuterol, Q1 hour nursing interventions or assessments.

Rate Details

Please note: Quoted pay rate is for local candidates. Travelers will be paid the equivalent of the local rate minus housing. Housing stipends available. Please note orientation is paid at full rate and parking is reimbursed. Travelers please request a sample pay stub to know to see your take home wage.
