Please join me in congratulating Niesha Broadway as November’s agency clinician of the month at CMS! After 3 years in the OR at UM Shock Trauma, Niesha joined the CMS team in 2015 at Hopkins in their Outpatient Surgical Center. Just over 2 years later and Hopkins has extended Niesha’s contract over 9 times!!! Clearly they love having Niesha as part of their team – just check out some of their feedback:
Niehsa is a conscientious, organized, respected member of the OR team. She demonstrates proficiency in all services that operate in our OR, and willingly assists with orientating new staff. – Nurse Manager
Niehsa is a very caring and positive professional. She is a great role model for teamwork and was a huge asset to our OR team during the EPIC role out! – Charge RN
Niesha is an excellent nurse. I have seen her grow into a very competent nurse. She is a team player and has been great to work with over the years. – Clinical Education Coordinator
Niehsa is a great worker and nurse! She is patient and very flexible. Niesha has been a great team member. I wish we could keep her forever! – Nurse Manager
WOW – look at all that love! And I know our administrative team feels the same way – Niesha is a joy to work with and we are so lucky to have her as part of our team. When Niesha found out she was being named clinician of the month she had the following to say:
Being chosen as clinician of the month was such a surprise. I literally took a while to respond because I did not know what to say. Growing up in Baltimore I saw the unforotunate effects of drugs and crime in the community. Being a nurse is a privilege because it gives me the opportunity to give back to my community. CMS allows me to work at the many hospitals across the DMV area and where I am able to help. I currently have been working at Johns Hopkins Hospital and it has been such a great experience. I am able to work side by side with renowned Doctors and be a part of the great group of staff members. I look forward to the many experience awaiting me while with CMS. Thank you again to the team for the honor and recognition.
Thanks again for all your hard work, Niesha! I know I speak for the team at CMS, the staff at Hopkins, and all the patients you see when I say we really appreciate all that you do day in and day out. Keep up the amazing work – we are truly thankful for all of your efforts.
One last time – CONGRATS and THANK YOU!!!!
