Currently seeking a OB/GYN RN to work for 13 week assignment (with possible extension) in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years clinical experience and 1 years of experience in specialty.

Hours will vary for the position. OBGYN RN experence required.

Essential functions:

  • Creates/ develops clinical support staff leaders through mentoring and by example.
  • Acts as a role model for clinical support staff in providing excellent customer service.
  • Builds exceptional morale and teamwork
  • Day to day supervision and leadership of clinical support staff.
  • Completes performance appraisals thoroughly and on time.
  • Ensures accuracy of and approves timesheets from staff she/he supervises.
  • Provides for the orientation, training, and periodic competency testing of clinical support staff as per BMS policy.
  • Effectively communicates with and motivates staff to follow through on BMS initiatives.
  • Supports appropriate cross training of staff and fosters a collaborative working environment.
  • Initiates continuous quality improvements efforts to improve staff performance workflow, efficiency and customer and staff satisfaction.
  • Effectively addresses employee relations issues, with assistance from the nurse manager, in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Consistently identifies patient needs and takes appropriate action; documents assessments in a holistic approach.
  • Demonstrates high level triage skills.
  • Always assesses patient to include subtleties in condition.
  • Consistently takes initiative and evaluates the effectiveness of care.

Shift – Days 8a-5p
Full-time Starting ASAP
8 weeks with possible extension.

Require an updated resume, skills checklist, and two recent manager or supervisory references. Please note these are the standard requirements but they can vary by facility. Need active MD or compact license.

Rate Details

Please note: Quoted pay rate is for local candidates. Travelers will be paid the equivalent of the local rate minus housing. Housing stipends available. Please note orientation is paid at full rate and parking is reimbursed.
