Shift– Nights 7p-7a
Every 3rd weekend is required. BLS, ACLS and NRP are required. 2 years min experience. Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips. Unit has 9 labor beds and 11 Post-Partum Beds. 1200 deliveries annually. One of the first hospitals to receive Blue Distinction Center+ for maternity care designation under Blue Distinction Specialty Care Program that helps parents find hospitals that deliver quality. Lower than national average for primary cesarean section deliveries. 62 TOLACs (52 successful VBACs (84% success rate). Seven-day lactation support. Level III NICU. Ideal nurse: patient ratio for laboring patients is 1:1 which occurs 85% of the time.
PA license – Required
Previous Travel Experience Strongly Preferred
Full time for 13 weeks with possible extension

Skill Set Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) Experience
Active PA License is required. Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year in the specialty requested. Also, must have an updated resume, updated skills checklist, and two recent manager or supervisory references.
Please note: Quoted pay rate is for local candidates. Travelers will be paid the equivalent of the local rate minus housing. Housing stipends available. Please note orientation is paid at full rate and parking is reimbursed.
