Hackensack University Medical Center-Registered Nurse RN- Interventional Radiology (IR)
Located in North Bergen, NJ
Shifts: Days- 10 hours
Individuals must be knowledgeable in core biopsies, TEE’s, cardiac catherization, vascular procedures, and the use of conscious sedation.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)
Collect and document data about patients.
Document identified problems using nursing diagnosis including patient teaching needs and discharge planning on patient’s clinical record.
Develop and contribute to a plan of nursing action based on existing problems and obtainable patient response.
Utilize resources (patient, family, nurses, physicians, and written material) to formulate the written plan of care.
Communicate the plan of care by using methods that include action plans, goals and time frames.
Implement safe therapeutic care for patients.
NJ license required
Long-term full time (13 weeks to start with possible extension)

Skill Set Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR)
Active NJ License is required. CMS will reimburse the cost of the NJ license once the first week of a contract is completed. Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience and a minimum of 1 year in the specialty requested. Also, must have an updated resume, updated skills checklist, and two recent manager or supervisory references.Please note these are the standard requirements but they can vary by facility.
Please note: Quoted pay rate is for local candidates. Travelers will be paid the equivalent of the local rate minus housing. Housing stipends available. Please note orientation is paid at full rate and parking is reimbursed. Travelers please request a sample pay stub to know to see your take home wage.
