Currently seeking a RN to work in Case Management for a 13 week assignment (with possible extension) in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years clinical experience and 2 years of specialty experience.

Case Manager; (3) shifts per week; M-F

Must be an RN with Case management experience.

Will be on the floors (inpatient units) and ED  working with patients and the medical team.

Case Manager, RN, Coordinates interdisciplinary care  from per-admission through post discharge

Description of Duties: Provides clinically based case management to support the delivery of effective and efficient patient care in the inpatient setting.  Is responsible for managing clinical resources and discharge planning for patients within an assigned caseload. Collaborates and coordinates care with other members of the healthcare team to insure clinical and cost outcomes are met and to insure reimbursement.  Utilizes clinical guidelines and criteria to determine medical necessity of hospital stay.  Actively works to eliminate barriers to the delivery of clinical services with the patient, family and healthcare team, creates a discharge plan appropriate to the patient’ needs an resources.

$37 / Hour

Skill Set Requirements

Require an updated resume, skills checklist, and two recent manager or supervisory references. Please note these are the standard requirements but they can vary by facility. Need active MD or compact license.

Rate Details

Please note: Quoted pay rate is for local candidates. Travelers will be paid the equivalent of the local rate minus housing. Housing stipends available. Please note orientation is paid at full rate and parking is reimbursed. Travelers please request a sample pay stub to know to see your take home wage.
