Competitive Pay

CMS offers the highest per diem, contract, and travel pay rates in the Baltimore metropolitan area. In addition, overtime is paid for any clinical hours worked over 40 hours within a pay period. We also routinely have openings with premium rates that we extend to our clinicians. Being on a contract offers additional perks such as full rate for orientation and parking, credentialing, & travel reimbursements (curious how travel pay works, check out our Travel Compensation FAQ). Keep in mind all rates are negotiable depending on the facility need and clinician experience. Lastly, we pay every Friday and pride ourselves on having the most thorough and accurate payroll team!


Medical, Dental, Vision, and Summplemental Insurance with Prescription Coverage

CMS offers comprehensive group medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance to employees who have worked an average of at least 30 hours per week for the 12-months following their date of hire (Note CMS will be rolling out a new policy where you will become eligible the 1st of the month after 30 days of full time employemnt – ask for more details!). Coverage is provided through United Healthcare with a choice of multiple medical plan options – more details are provided once eligible. All premiums are discounted and payroll deducted weekly on a pre-tax basis. In the interim, employees have several health benefit options, including extension of current plan or COBRA, or applying for one of the many exchange plans that are available. CMS also offers supplemental coverage to include access to a menu of voluntary insurance benefits designed to pay cash directly to you when you need it most – ask for more details!


401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

All CMS associates are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan with a 5% match1 year after hire and continuous full-time employment (View the Plan Highlights). We offer a broad variety of investment options through Capstone Retirement Group and Empower Retirement Services, some of the leading financial services institutions in this area. Also, one of the many features of our 401(k) plan is direct access to a financial advisor (Brett) at Capstone who will help you develop a customized investment program that will best meet your needs.
