We got a great message about Kandice and how her great job saved a pt receiving an order to which they were allergic: “Kandice King did a particularly good job. She weaned sedation off for a patient in one room (unusual on night shift). More importantly, in bed 1, the pt developed a wide complex tachycardia and became unstable, BP 60s/40s. Amiodarone was ordered. The loading dose was mixed, primed and almost given but Kandice stopped the nurse at the bedside and said, “Wait, I think this pt has an allergy to amiodarone.” The patient had lung toxicity to amiodarone. They ordered another antiarrhythmic instead.” Way to go Kandice! Thank you for … Continued

Huge thank you to Jeff Branch for representing us so well at a newer client, Carroll County Public Schools! We got great feedback from their nurse: On Monday, May 15, Nurse Jeffrey Branch filled in for me on a very last minute call. He did a fabulous job filling in for me. The students said he was very nice and professional. The office staff also commented how thorough he was, asking the location of the AED, extra emergency bag, etc. He left very good notes and communicated with me before and after the job. It is a relief to know when needed, the school and students are left in good … Continued
We are so lucky at CMS to have so many great clinicians working for us. We got the below feedback recently for Cherise Brown: “I’d like to recognize one of your staff members. I feel her accountability and teamwork should not go un-celebrated. On two occasions, most recently during last nights code blue, I have had the pleasure of responding to Cherise Brown’s calls to Rapid Response Team for help. Cherise demonstrates an astute ability to recognize changes in her patients’ conditions, activates RRT appropriately and promptly. She is ever present and most helpful during resuscitation efforts, demonstrating effective teamwork. Rapid Response Team appreciates her service to our patient’s and our … Continued
