The annual CMS Gala raised over $5k for Health Care for the Homeless
The CMS administrative and clinical staff danced the night away at the Hotel Monaco over the weekend. Through the tireless efforts of Deb Kennedy, local businesses, and office and clinical staff, the event raised more than $5,000 for Health Care for the Homeless. Plentiful Per Diem and Contract Opportunities in Washington DC
CMS continues to partner with the Medstar Washington DC facilities!
As the Washington DC Medstar facilities transition away from a predominantly contract-based staffing model and instead seek to utilize increasing amounts of per diem coverage, CMS is sourcing candidates to orient to these facilities. There are plenty of opportunities at these facilities for experienced and reliable nurses in a variety of specialty settings, including ICU, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical. Our pay rates in DC go as high as $50, so this is a great time to orient to these facilities and take advantage of our highest pay differentials! For information on orientation requirements, please click here. If you don't have a DC license yet, not to worry! It is a walk through state that can issue you a temporary license in as little as 7 days. Your standard license will then issue in the next 90 days before the temporary license expires.
CMS to Host Upcoming PALS Class

CMS will host a PALS class next month in our office. Class will be from 1p-6p on December 1st. The cost is $200 for the class and you must sign up in advance by notifying the Clinical Placement Manager, Cindy Hoel, by e-mail or at 410-321-4267x113.
